WINTERING SUNDAY 19TH JANUARY

15:30 - 16:30

This month we delve into Katherine May's "Wintering," a poignant exploration of the transformative power of embracing the colder, darker months. As we huddle together, we'll discuss the beauty of hibernation, the importance of solitude, and the resilience of the human spirit. Whether you're a winter lover or someone who dreads the cold, this book offers a unique perspective on finding peace and purpose during the quieter seasons.

Tea and Coffee will be served.

We would like to encourage those of the community to bring along any snacks or bakes to share 😊

How does it work?

  • Each month on a Sunday (dates will be confirmed in advance), we will meet to discuss a topic, related to yoga, philosophy or wellness. As well as enjoying our community.

  • We will share resources including one key book, a reflection notes page plus podcasts, meditations, YouTube videos and additional learning tools.

  • We will have a month to go away and learn about the topic, ready to discuss it at our next meeting.

  • You will be added to our Yogi Book Club mailing list. PLUS you have the option to be added to our Whatsapp group, where we can share even more with our community.

  • Even if you can’t make it to the meeting, you can still take the information and learn with your own resources.

  • This web page will be updated monthly with the current topic of study.

What do I need to bring?

  • The current month’s book.

  • Your Yogi Book Club reflection notes (if you took them).

  • We would be so grateful to our community to bring along and snacks or cakes that they would be happy to share with the group. (Although not necessary).

  • £2 Coffee pot donation OR £5 charity donation to Diabetes UK - This can be purchased while booking or cash can be brought with you on the day. The donation is not obligatory, we are grateful for any donation of any size.
